The expansion of Nine-Man Volleyball as a Chinese immigrant sport is becoming well documented.  Rising interest among Chinese Americans and Chinese Canadians in Urban Centers fosters interest for more tournament play to prepare the annual Labor Day event of the North American Chinese Invitational Volleyball Tournament (NACIVT).  The Boston SPIKEOFF is an extension tournament to provide interested Men's Nine-Man and Women's Sixes teams to prepare and compete.
